Starfish 360 takes on the Big Smoke
Leading north-west mobile-commerce company Starfish 360 has taken its expertise to the heart of British retail and opened an office in Gloucester Place, central London.
The expansion follows the success of securing contracts with some of the north-west’s top retailers, including JD Williams, a business with a £700million turnover and more than 25 separate websites and brands.
Already recognised as an industry leader and placed on the Interactive Media in Retail Groups’s (IMRG) senate, Starfish 360 will now be making their presence felt among the capital’s retail giants.
With 53% of people in the UK owning a smartphone and tablet sales rising, a nation of ‘multi-screeners’ has emerged. With their expertise in enabling companies to implement a holistic strategy across all mobile devices, Starfish 360 is offering retailers innovative means of reaching consumers at every stage of a shopping decision.
Jennifer Peart, associate consultant at Starfish 360, will head-up the expansion. She has almost 20 years experience in marketing, product management and proposition development within the digital industry. With her experience of leading marketing and product management in a wide range of companies, from technology start-ups to established multi-nationals, across multiple industry sectors, she is ideally placed to lead the company’s development in London.
Jennifer says: "I’m thrilled to be heading up this expansion. Having already had incredible success in the north-west, the London office will place Starfish 360 right at the heart of this retail and technology revolution. This is a great opportunity for retailers to harness the benefits of a well implemented m-commerce strategy."
Chris Brassington, CEO of Starfish 360, says: "We’re tremendously excited about this expansion to London. It opens up some amazing opportunities for us to showcase our expertise in making mobile technology work for retailers.
"Having an m-commerce strategy implemented into your business is now crucial. With so many retailers yet to take the initiative, our services will now be essential to businesses if they want to survive the multi-device era."
